I BECAME INSPIRED TO BECOME A PERSONAL TRAINER TO HELP PEOPLE LIKE ME.
Don't tell her this but my wife Corinne Austin has inspired me. Corinne has run her FitFix business since 2007 now and has been in the industry prior to that. If you know her you'll know what I mean and why I'd be inspired.
I got to thinking there are a lot of 40+ males out there that need to know it is not all downhill from here and that this is no time to be giving up on yourself.
If I can instil a realisation of and a motivation for the need for guys to invest in themselves physically a bit today so that in 10, 20, 30, whatever, years time they‘ve built a strong base of habits that will hold them in good stead for an active, functional, injury free, health conscious, and long & enjoyable life of pursuing their hopes and dreams in whatever form they take. For some it’ll be playing bowls, fishing, or maintaining their lawns & gardens. For others, chasing their Grand-kids, trekking, walking, or competing in challenging events.
Now as a professional Personal Trainer, my passion is to guide people towards a healthier lifestyle. Everybody is unique, with their own strengths and limitations. My method is to build a custom plan based on health, schedule, and fitness goals. I aim to strengthen bodies while providing an influence to making more mindful decisions when it comes to overall health & wellbeing.
